Chris Billam-Smith

Chris Billam-Smith is an accomplished English professional boxer and the reigning WBO cruiserweight champion, a title he claimed in 2023. On the regional stage, he previously held the European, British, and Commonwealth cruiserweight titles from 2019 to 2022. In a defining moment of his career, Billam-Smith secured the WBO championship with a majority decision victory over Lawrence Okolie at the Vitality Stadium in 2023.

Imane Khelif

Imane Khelif is an Algerian professional boxer who claimed the gold medal in the Women’s 66kg division at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She was among the first three female boxers to represent Algeria at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, where she won her opening bout but was defeated in her second match by gold medalist Kellie Harrington of Ireland. Khelif further solidified her reputation with strong performances at the following two world championships and was appointed a UNICEF national ambassador earlier this year, adding to her growing influence both in and out of the ring.

Oleksandr Usyk 

Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine is the reigning undisputed heavyweight world champion, known for his exceptional achievements in both the heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions. A 2012 Olympic gold medalist, Usyk first captured the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles with a dominant decision victory over Anthony Joshua in September 2021, defending them twice, including in a 2022 rematch. He later unified all four heavyweight belts with a split-decision win against Tyson Fury. Usyk’s impressive résumé also includes heavyweight victories over Daniel Dubois and Derek Chisora, as well as standout cruiserweight wins over Tony Bellew, Mairis Briedis, and Murat Gassiev.

Lawrence Okolie 

Lawrence Okolie is a British boxer and former WBO cruiserweight world champion. Despite limited amateur experience, Okolie earned a spot on Team GB for the 2016 Olympics and quickly made his mark in the professional ranks. He has since claimed the British, Commonwealth, and European cruiserweight titles. In March 2023, Okolie successfully defended his WBO title with a victory over David Light.

Canelo Álvarez

Canelo Álvarez, hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, is the undisputed super middleweight champion of the world and one of boxing’s most accomplished fighters. He has captured titles across four weight divisions: super middleweight, junior middleweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight. Canelo boasts an impressive résumé, with notable victories over top-tier opponents such as Gennadiy Golovkin (holding a 2-0-1 record in their trilogy), Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, Sergey Kovalev, and Billy Joe Saunders, among others.

Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury, from Manchester, England, is the former lineal and WBC heavyweight champion, widely regarded as one of the top heavyweights of his era. Fury has been involved in two high-profile trilogies—dominating Derek Chisora in all three bouts (winning twice by knockout and once by unanimous decision) and going 2-0-1 against Deontay Wilder, with two knockout wins following their initial split draw. Fury’s résumé also includes notable victories over Wladimir Klitschko and Dillian Whyte, cementing his legacy in the sport.

Galal Yafai MBE

Galal Yafai became the unexpected Olympic flyweight champion in Tokyo, five years after reaching the round of 16 in Rio. He fulfilled his dream by defeating Carlo Paalam of the Philippines 4-1 and was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours. Once a worker in a Solihull car factory, Yafai is now the world’s top amateur flyweight boxer. Since Rio, he won Commonwealth gold in 2018 and a bronze at the 2019 European Championships in Minsk.

Naoya Inoue

Naoya Inoue is the reigning WBA Bantamweight Champion, a title he has held since May 2018, when he defeated Jamie McDonnell by first-round knockout in Tokyo. Inoue has since defended this title successfully twice, maintaining an undefeated professional record of 18 wins, 0 losses, and 16 knockouts. His impressive victories include recent wins in the World Boxing Super Series over Juan Carlos Payano and Emmanuel Rodriguez. Inoue is also a former world champion in the Light Flyweight and Super Flyweight divisions.
